Description Of Work:
We had a great experience with this company. Mr. Bender was great to
work with. The thing I liked the most was, every time I called, he answered
the phone. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained
exactly what they will do on the inspection. Mr. Bender and his partner
showed up to the house on time. They did a complete inspection. After
they were complete, they took my wife and I around the outside and inside
of the home and explained everything that was a positive and everything
that needed some care. The following day, Mr. Bender e-mailed us a
complete report with pictures. I got an e-mail a couple of days later asking
if I had any more questions. Mr. Bender was very courteous and
professional. The price might sound a little high, esp. when you call
around but, you get what you pay for with this company. It is well worth it.

Mr. Bender and his assistant were extremely punctual and professional.
They performed a thorough and complete inspection of the house and
took the time to explain what they found. They also did a final
walk-through to summarize all their findings. They present their report
online which is really convenient and can be accessed any time. Since the
inspection was done at Christmas time and this is a short sale, time was
critical. Mr. Bender presented his report 1 day ahead of schedule.

Michael from Bay Home Inspection was great. He was very courteous,
prompt and very thorough. Him and his partner showed up on time on a
rainy day. They spent a good five hours scouring every nook and cranny of
my soon to be new home.
They inspected, the roof (although it was raining and the house is three
stories tall), he inspected the pool, spa, dock and even seawall. He also did
a wind mitigation. He seemed very knowledgeable.
They inspected the home carefully and explained everything thoroughly.
Michael walked with me for about 1/2 an hour around the house showing
me the good and the ugly about the house.
I am very impressed with Michael's professionalism and I am especially
impressed with the way the report was delivered. He made a full report
available to me online with detailed pictures and suggestions for repairs.
Very comprehensive and clean.
I have used several inspectors over the years and Michael from Bay Home
Inspections is by far the best.
If you need a home inspection look no further: Michael is your man.

Bay Home Inspections performed a 4-point inspection and a wind
mitigation inspection on my home. These inspections were required by
my homeowners insurance agency before a policy could be written.
Member Comments:
Having Bay Home Inspections perform this work for me was a very positive
experience. When I called, Michael was able to give me an appointment
within a couple of days and he and his partner, Jennifer, arrived promptly
at the time we had set. They were both very polite and professional as
they went about their work. They were very careful of my home and its
furnishings.
Michael pointed out a problem to me that was not a part of the inspection,
but it was a safety issue that he thought I should be made aware of.
Jennifer was the one who went up into the attic to inspect the trusses and
"nail pattern" of the roof. (I have had at least two other male workers in the
past refuse to go into the attic because of the lack of space.) She had
complimentary comments to make about previous work done by a roofing
crew. That, in itself, was a joy to hear -- one conscientious worker
recognizing and complimenting another's work.
Michael again went above and beyond when he rushed me the reports
that very afternoon because he knew of the pressure I was under to get my
insurance policy written.
I would definitely hire Bay Home Inspections again and I will recommend
them to friends who are in need of home inspections.

We needed a pre-sale home inspection and found a great service with Bay
Home. They inspected the home carefully and made notes and took
photos of all that needed attention. The best thing was a Wind Mitigation
report which led to SUBSTANTIAL savings in our annual home insurance
fee; over $800 savings!
